A double gesture of dedication destined to leave its mark.
Corriere dello Sport opened today with the headline “Pellegrini-Dybala, a love cut,” detailing how the two players have chosen to significantly reduce their salaries in order to continue their adventures with the Giallorossi.
According to the sports newspaper, Lorenzo Pellegrini has agreed to give up more than 50% of his current salary in order to extend his expiring contract with Roma.
A new three-year agreement is reportedly ready for the number 7.
Paulo Dybala has also reportedly made a significant financial choice.
The Argentine striker is reportedly willing to go from a salary of €8 million to around €2.5 million, thus facilitating the reaching of an agreement with the club.
Negotiations are now reportedly in the final stages, and according to Corriere dello Sport, only the official announcement is missing. Dybala’s deal is expected to include a contract until 2028, with an option for the following season.
