Adi Hutter’s time at AS Monaco looks to be coming to an end. As revealed by L’Équipe on Sunday, the Principality club have been sounding out the managerial market following a sub-standard start to the campaign. Despite sitting fifth in Ligue 1, performances have been below expectations; Hutter himself has admitted as much. “We are not 100% happy,” he admitted following the 2-2 draw against OGC Nice on Sunday.
L’Équipe reports that, in the wake of that result, the management at Monaco are looking to sack Hutter. Whilst there is a list of potential successors, Edin Terzic is the one being most strongly linked with the Principality club. The German has been out of work since leaving Borussia Dortmund.
Terzic is a name being pushed internally, and L’Équipe understands that significant steps are now being taken to name a successor. Hutter is in his third season as Monaco manager and extended his contract until 2027 back in January. However, his time at the Principality club may now be coming to an end.
