Noah Okafor has sustained a calf strain and will miss Leeds United’s next two matches, with hope he returns for the final game.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Leeds will brief the media this afternoon ahead of Monday’s visit to Tottenham.

Leeds are virtually safe after a 3-1 win over Burnley. Anton Stach, Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored to take them to 43 points. They could be mathematically secure by the end of the week if West Ham, seven points back in 18th, lose to Arsenal at the London Stadium.

Tottenham are one place and one point above West Ham. Roberto De Zerbi’s side have won back-to-back games but remain in serious relegation trouble and need another result.

Okafor’s issue followed a right-calf problem after the FA Cup semi-final, with the latest setback affecting his left. Pascal will train individually after a knock, and there is hope he will be available.

Gabriel Gudmundsson sustained a hamstring injury late in the semi-final defeat to Chelsea and was initially expected to miss Tottenham, with an update due today. Ilia Gruev’s season is over after a meniscus injury suffered before the recent draw at Bournemouth.
