Egypt’s U17 national team has officially booked their place in the Round of 16 of the FIFA U17 World Cup Qatar 2025 even before playing their final group-stage match.

With impressive four point from two game, the young Pharaohs have already secured qualification among the best third-placed teams and now aim to seal direct top-spot finish when they face England on Monday.

Egypt secure early qualification

Led by coach Ahmed El-Kass, the Egyptian side opened their campaign with commanding 4-1 victory over Haiti followed by 1-1 draw against Venezuela.

These results placed Egypt on 4 point ahead of several other third-placed teams ensuring spot in the knockout stage regardless of their result against England.

However a win or draw in the upcoming fixture would see the Pharaohs qualify directly as group leaders or runners-up giving them more favorable route in the next round.
