Eintracht Frankfurt will play Liverpool, Barcelona, Atalanta, Atleti, Tottenham, Napoli, Galatasaray and Qarabağ in the league phase of this season’s UEFA Champions League.
The draw was held at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco and was conducted by Zlatan Ibrahimović – who received the 2025 UEFA President’s Award beforehand – and Kaká, who won the competition with AC Milan in 2007, as well as Giorgio Marchetti, UEFA’s Deputy General Secretary.
Eintracht will participate in the competition for the second time, having first done so in 2022/23. Dino Toppmöller’s side will travel to Spain for games against FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid, while they were also drawn away to Italian champions SSC Napoli and Azerbaijani side Qarabağ FK.
The Eagles will take on Liverpool FC, Atalanta BC, Tottenham Hotspur and Galatasaray A.Ş at home. Sporting director Timo Hardung: “We wanted to be in the Champions League and now we’re there. They’re not easy opponents but we’re obviously looking forward to these special games, especially the ones at home at Deutsche Bank Park. With our fantastic fans behind us, we want to show our qualities out on the pitch.”
UEFA will confirm exact dates and kick-off times on Saturday.
