Eintracht Frankfurt have shown concrete interest in signing Real Madrid’s Víctor Valdepeñas.
As reported by BILD, Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche have already held talks with the player’s representatives, while the possibility of a summer transfer is being explored. Although Valdepeñas, who made his Real debut in December under former head coach Xabi Alonso, is one of several candidates that Eintracht are showing an interest in.
The Spain youth international plays for Real Madrid’s reserve team and has made 26 appearances this season while helping his side win the UEFA Youth League, although the left-back was an unused substitute in their penalty victory over Club Brugge.
Additionally, Valdepeñas can also operate in a central position, which is where Eintracht see the youngster but the Hessen side also face competition from Arsenal and Milan and like previous departures from the Spanish giants, Los Blancos will likely demand a buy-back option.
