Bild reports that Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Hugo Larsson is looking to leave the club in the summer and take the next step in his career.  

Speaking to Swedish radio about his future, the 21-year-old said: 

It is said that Larsson is looking to leave Frankfurt in the summer, and the possibility of a move is already in the works in the background. 

Previously, Markus Krösche could have demanded a high fee for the Swedish midfielder; however, this season, he has struggled for form, and now a fee of €40m would be considered a good deal for Larsson. On top of this, he has also been linked with a move to England in the past. 

Larsson’s struggles this season:

The midfielder has struggled to match his previous form at Frankfurt this season, while the club have also struggled off the pitch.  

This season, the 21-year-old has featured 29 times for die Adler, scoring once and assisting three times. However, he has struggled with several illnesses this season, affecting his availability.
