Eintracht Frankfurt defender Tuta may be in line for a Bundesliga departure this summer. Estadio Deportivo reports that the 25-year-old is in advanced talks with Real Betis over a move away from the RheinMain metropolis. The Sao-Paulo native has thought to be fancying a change-of-scenery of quite some time.

Virtually all of Tuta’s professional career has been spent with Eintracht. Tasked with filling the very large boots of his fellow south American David Abraham following the Argentine captain’s retirement in January 2021, Tuta rose to the occasion and continued to develop as a versatile defender/central midfielder.

Tuta famously scored his first Bundesliga goal on matchday ten of the 2020/21 Bundesliga campaign. A late equalizer against RB Leipzig on October 30th helped save then under-fire SGE head coach Oliver Glasner’s fledgling coaching regime.

He’s added nine SGE goals in 186 appearances across all competitions since, in  the process pumping his estimated market worth up to €15m. Frankfurt are reported to seek at least €12m for their regular.

The Spanish daily reports that, at present, the La Liga outfit have only tendered an €8m offer. Eintracht may still be keen to cash in on Tuta as he sits on a contract due to expire at the end of next season.
