El Changuito Zeballos injured in training, to miss Boca’s trip to Vélez | OneFootball

Boca will be without El Changuito Zeballos for Sunday’s visit to Vélez after the winger was injured in training.

According to LaNumer12.com.ar, the Santiago del Estero native felt a hamstring issue during Wednesday’s session at Boca Predio and has undergone tests.

It is a significant blow to Boca’s attack. Early indications suggest a tear, and if confirmed he could be sidelined for one to three weeks.

For now, Zeballos will not feature against Vélez on Sunday eight February at the Estadio José Amalfitani, kick-off 22:15, in the fourth round of the Torneo Apertura 2026.

The referee will be Nazareno Arasa, assisted by Facundo Rodríguez and Miguel Savorani. Maximiliano Macheroni is the fourth official, with VAR handled by Nicolás Ramírez and Javier Delbarba.
