René Wagner has confirmed Said El Mala is fit and will be in the squad for Köln’s Bundesliga trip to Werder Bremen.
According to BuLi News, the 19-year-old overcame ankle problems to rejoin team training on Thursday, then was given the green light at Wagner’s press conference on Friday.

"He is doing well," Wagner said.
"He trained fully today, will train fully tomorrow, and is an option to start on Sunday."
His return is a major boost for Köln, who sit 15th, two points above the relegation zone.
