Elena Sánchez y Noa Marchena have realised childhood dreams, stepping from Valencia’s academy to the first team and encapsulating the club’s identity and ambition.
According to Superdeporte, both joined the academy aged about 10 and grew up seeing the club as more than a team, describing it as a second home.
After seven years with Valencia, Sánchez marked 1 February 2026 in style. Introduced in the 88th minute for Rebecca Elloh in Asturias, the winger scored as Valencia won.
She recalled darting back for a cut-back after Claudia’s surge to the byline, then finishing the move. At 16, she stands out for power and a clean strike, qualities Real Oviedo felt.
Sánchez speaks of pride in the badge and says the club feels like family, hoping to stay for many more years.
Marchena, 20, has spent 11 seasons at Valencia since arriving as an alevín. She debuted against Alba Fundación in the 82nd minute, replacing Tere Morató.
The match in La Mancha ended in defeat, yet she called it a long-awaited reward. Her target is to keep earning minutes and help Valencia push for promotion this year.
