Transfer talk around Wolves, West Brom and Aston Villa is intensifying, with fresh claims on Joao Gomes, Pedro Lima, Jackson Tchatchoua, Ben Brereton-Diaz and Emi Martinez.
For Wolves, talks over a potential £38m move for Joao Gomes to Atletico Madrid are said to be advancing. The semi-finalists are said to see him as a replacement for Conor Gallagher, who left for Tottenham in January. Gomes reportedly prefers Madrid and has rejected Leeds United, Zenit Saint Petersburg, Atalanta and Galatasaray, despite suggestions those offers were richer.
Sport.ua reports negotiations have begun over Pedro Lima moving to Shakhtar, with a deal said to be close. The full back joined Wolves in 2024 for £8.5m from Sport Recife and has featured only sporadically.
Jackson Tchatchoua is reportedly available to leave after a difficult campaign. Bologna are said to be leading the race, with Real Betis, Villarreal, Rennes and Marseille also credited with interest.
West Brom are again linked with Ben Brereton-Diaz. The Southampton forward spent last year on loan at Derby County, scored four in 17, and with two years left would command a fee. Fans also await the retained list with six senior players out of contract.
Villa are still thought to admire Manchester City’s Omar Marmoush, though City would only consider a sale at around £59m. Liverpool are also being linked with Emi Martinez, with internal talks said to be gathering pace as Alisson is tipped to join Juventus.
