A deal that looked pretty likely just a week ago is now in doubt.
Randal Kolo Muani is a player PSG have been looking to shift for some time, and it looked like they had managed it. Juventus were keen, and were pretty deep into talks with the Parisians over the striker.
However, the latest news today, from sources like Ben Jacobs, makes it clear that things are very close to falling apart entirely in talks between the two giants.
Jacobs writes that PSG had given Juve “priority” for talks with Kolo Muani, but that exclusive status is now over. The stalled talks are leading to the opening up of talks with other clubs, with “several English and German teams” having “expressed interest.”
That’s promising for PSG, who are under less pressure to make an immediate sale not that Goncalo Ramos has gone to AC Milan for a hefty fee.
