Record reports that Enzo Fernández has decided to leave Chelsea in the summer window, seeking a new direction for his career. Linked with several big spending clubs, the Argentina midfielder wants a move once the market reopens.

The report cites repeated managerial changes and a season to forget as key factors. The Premier League's 10th-placed side is not inclined to make his exit easy.

Having paid about 121 million euros to Benfica in January 2023, the Blues are said to want to recoup a significant chunk of that outlay. The report adds they would only consider a sale at 140 million euros.

It also states he features in the plans of Xabi Alonso, Chelsea's new head coach, yet the club will hear offers, including from Manchester City, if the price is met. The midfielder is described as a specific request of Enzo Maresca, Pep Guardiola's successor at City.

In 2025/26 Fernández made 54 appearances for Chelsea, 36 in the Premier League, 10 in the Champions League, 4 in the FA Cup and 4 in the League Cup. Across 4,379 minutes he registered 15 goals and 7 assists. He is valued at 90 million euros.
