Andre Onana was in fine form in the first half and twice kept out a determined Lyle Foster. Yet, as has often been the case during his debut season at Old Trafford, the former Inter goalkeeper made a disastrous mistake to hand the visitors a lifeline.

In the 87th minute, Onana collided with Clarets substitute Zeki Amdouni after an inexplicable headed back-pass by Casemiro. Referee John Brooks awarded a spot-kick to the visitors following a look at the pitch-side monitor and Amdouni made no mistake from 12 yards out, earning Burnley a 1-1 draw in their battle against relegation.
