Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has offered a promising update on summer signing Leny Yoro’s recovery from injury.
The Red Devils have proceeded with caution after Leny Yoro suffered a metatarsal injury against Arsenal in pre-season.
It was an issue that was highlighted in the medical when completing his move but the club was eager to proceed with the deal for the talented prospect.
The Manchester United faithful will be eager to see the French defender in action in the Premier League after he made the summer switch to Old Trafford.
There is a big belief that Yoro will become a fantastic player at Old Trafford with the 18-year-old having a huge reputation to become a world-class centre-back in the coming years.
Ten Hag will be pleased by the prospect that Yoro could return to action and make his debut for the club soon, providing the former Ajax manager with more options to rotate.
Speaking to MUTV as per the Express, the Manchester United boss said: “Yes, he is doing very well. It is very pleasing that his rehab is going in the right direction, and I expect him soon
But what I mean by soon is that he is now in the right planning process. He is in the right spot and he will return as soon as possible into the squad and then the team training.”
