Estelle Cascarino joins West Ham on loan | OneFootball

West Ham United have announced the signing of Estelle Cascarino on loan from Juventus until the end of the season.

The Hammers have already changed managers with Italian manager Rita Guarino being appointed in the place of Rehanne Skinner last month.

Guarino has now brought in a player from Italy with French international Cascarino joining from Juve.

Cascarino already has some experience in the WSL having previously joined Manchester United on loan from Paris Saint-Germain for the second of the 2022/23 season, although the defender only managed two appearances in that time.

"I’m really pleased to be joining West Ham United,” Cascarino said about making the move to London. "I know that West Ham is a big club in England and I’m excited to be part of this project.

"I’m a technical player who is aggressive in my defending. I’m here to bring my leadership and experience to help the team on and off the pitch.

"I’m proud of what I’ve achieved so far in my career and I’m looking forward to this next chapter at West Ham, in the best league in the world."

Cascarino could potentially make her debut for West Ham on Sunday in a tough game away to champions Chelsea.
