Chelsea attacker Estevao Willian has revealed exactly what Enzo Maresca has been doing with him in training so far.
The Blues man has burst onto the scene this season after arriving at Stamford Bridge in the summer, but the way Maresca has been handling him has been great in my view.
The Italian has been easing Estevao in slowly game by game and not putting too much pressure on his shoulders already whilst allowing him to settle into a new country and a new league. It seems to be paying off so far because the youngster looks very comfortable and confident whenever he comes on the pitch.
There has been a lot of debate and a lot said about the positions that Estevao plays and his favoured positions etc, and the 18-year-old have now revealed what positions he has been playing in training.

As cited on X this week, Estevao said:
“In Chelsea it’s been very frequent [changing positions]. Maresca always tries to get the best out of me.
“Even in training he’s been putting me in different attacking roles so I can have more repertoire, more game awareness. In the last match against Liverpool I came on as a winger. And in the last Champions League game I played through the middle.”
The stats are saying that Chelsea might have bought the wrong striker in the summer, although this striker is yet to arrive at the club.
Chelsea are looking to make a move to sign a new defender in January but apparently their top option, Marc Guehi, will not be making a move back to Stamford Bridge any time soon.
