Wolves are likely to sell to buy this month, placing Jorgen Strand Larsen under the spotlight. Premier League rivals, including Everton, have shown interest.
According to Molineux.news, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and West Ham have an interest, and Wolves have set a £40m price. Everton have discussed a potential move for the Norwegian. That makes four top-flight clubs monitoring the striker.
The window has begun slowly for Wolves, with little beyond rumours and possible exits. Jamie Carragher believes Strand Larsen will leave soon, though there is no sign anything is imminent.
Everton have struggled for consistency from Thierno Barry and Beto this season, so they are looking at alternatives. Strand Larsen has managed only one goal in the current campaign. Steve Bull has suggested his form reflects a lack of service.
Dwight McNeil has been largely sidelined at Everton, with 10 league appearances and only three starts, which could aid Wolves. With Tyler Dibling, Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye already at the club, competition has been intense. On his day he can rival anyone for delivery into the box, and Wolves have lacked creativity and directness in the final third.
