Everton have made an enquiry for Levante striker Karl Etta Eyong, according to journalist and transfer insider Ben Jacobs.
Everton could look to bring one or two attackers to the Hill Dickinson Stadium club this summer as Toffees manager David Moyes looks to strengthen his ranks.
Etta Eyong has 27 goals across the last two seasons and is open to moving to the Premier League.
However, Everton have Ipswich Town in their way, and the Tractor Boys have opened talks with Levante as they prepare for life back in the English top-flight.
The La Liga club want around £30 million for the 22-year-old Cameroon international forward.
Everton could be open to doing a deal, especially if they sell Thierno Barry to RB Leipzig.
The Bundesliga club are in contact with the Blues over a summer transfer deal for the Frenchman and could be open to selling him for the right fee.
Beto is also on the radar of Italian clubs and Everton will need replacements if they decide to sell the Portuguese or his French counterpart.
Etta Eyong could be perfect for them having proven himself in Spain in recent seasons.
The ‘born finisher’ ended last 2025–26 with seven goals after notching 20 goals in 2024–25, with 19 of them for Villarreal B in the Spanish third-tier.
The Everton target started last season with five goals and three assists in the opening eight games of the campaign but was unable to sustain the momentum.
Etta Eyong’s huge potential appeals to Moyes, who could fancy his chances of turning the Cameroonian into a better all-round player.
The Toffees will have to table a juicy offer to have a chance of beating Ipswich to the Levante star, and it remains to be seen if they have any plans of making any concrete move.
