Everton welcome Liverpool across town tonight for the final Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park.

The famous old ground will be the stage for the Merseyside Derby for the last time this evening, in a huge clash for both teams.

Everton have won three consecutive Premier League games to ease relegation fears, though suffered a setback with a FA Cup exit to Bournemouth at the weekend. David Moyes has galvanised the group since his return to the Toffees, however, and has his sights set on derby success.

Liverpool arrive having also exited cup competition at the weekend. A rotated Reds team were beaten by Championship strugglers Plymouth Argyle at Home Park. Arne Slot will bring back his big guns for tonight’s clash and knows a win will take Liverpool nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

Vitalii Mykolenko could return for Everton after missing the defeat to Bournemouth with a calf strain. The Ukraine international is in contention to start at left-back.

Further forward, Beto will continue to lead the line with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Armando Broja and Youssef Chermiti all sidelined. Dwight McNeil is still some way off a return after undergoing knee surgery, while Orel Mangala’s (ACL) season is over.
