Everton bidding to record a Premier League double over Man United
Everton face Manchester United in the final game of matchweek 27 from the Premier League.
It is an important game for both sides as each are very much in the race for European qualification, and playing after their rivals will add a layer of intrigue to proceedings.
Man United are targeting a place in the Champions League following a mini-revival since Michael Carrick was named head coach until the end of the season.
So far, Carrick has overseen four wins and a draw to put Man Utd in an advantageous position to secure a top-four finish come May.
Everton, meanwhile, are in the hunt for a Conference League spot as things stand, but can move to within five points of the Red Devils with a first home win since December and perhaps target a top-six finish.
Everton vs Manchester United is scheduled for a 8pm GMT kick-off on Monday, February 23, 2026.
The match will take place at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on Sky Sports. Coverage starts at 6.30pm GMT on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League.
Live stream: Sky Sports subscribers can also catch the contest live online via the Sky Go app.
Live blog: You can follow all the action on matchday via Standard Sport’s live blog.
David Moyes has a near full-strength squad to choose from ahead a reunion with his former club.
Jack Grealish, on loan from Manchester City, is sidelined after undergoing surgery and is not expected to play again this season.
Jake O’Brien is suspended after being sent-off in the 2-1 home defeat to Bournemouth in Everton’s last outing prior to the FA Cup break.
As for Man United, Mason Mount is on course to return to the matchday squad after missing the last three games with a knock. The midfielder was pictured reporting for training earlier in the week and should be available for selection.
Matthijs de Ligt, however, remains out with a back injury which has kept him out of action since the end of November.
Patrick Dorgu is out with a hamstring injury sustained in the 2-1 win over Arsenal last month, with reports suggesting he is not due back until April at the earliest.

Both teams will be fresh having not played since February 10 as a result of being eliminated from the FA Cup at the third round.
Everton are struggling at home, failing to win any of their last six in all competitions and that should offer encouragement to Man United on their first visit to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
These are the games United need to win if they’re to remain favourites for a Champions League spot and we expect the momentum gained under Carrick to continue here.
Manchester United to win, 3-1.
Everton are seeking first Premier League double over Manchester United since 2014 after winning the reverse fixture, with ten-men, at Old Trafford earlier in the season thanks to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s goal.

Manchester United wins: 96
