‘Every game’ – Real Madrid star takes aim at Mallorca’s Pablo Maffeo after Super Cup clash | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Aurélien Tchouaméni has this evening moved to reveal his frustration with Mallorca defender Pablo Maffeo.

This comes after the latter was at the heart of another heated exchange between the two sides.

Real and Mallorca of course locked horns a short time ago, with a place in the finale of the Spanish Super Cup on the line in Saudi Arabia.

When all was said and done, the former emerged dominant victors, by three goals to nil.

The fixture proved an at times ill-tempered one, culminating in things completely boiling over in the game’s final minutes, as well as post-match.

The leading protagonists were Vinícius Jr, Raúl Asencio, and the aforementioned Pablo Maffeo.

And, upon things finally settling down following the full-time whistle at King Abdullah Sport City, one individual who was in no two minds when it comes to the identity of the problem starter was Aurélien Tchouaméni.

Speaking to Movistar, in comments relaid by The Athletic’s Guillermo Rai, Tchouaméni vented:

“Every game we have a problem with him. A problem between Vinícius and Maffeo? We know it, but it’s not important. We don’t want to talk about this guy (Maffeo) because that’s what he wants.”
