Clubs taking part in LaLiga's retro round have unveiled the special shirts they will wear. The designs are set to debut in three rounds' time, on matchday 31 in Primera División and matchday 33 in Segunda.
According to Superdeporte, Valencia have chosen a recreation of their away strip from 1990/91 and 1991/92. The new version nods to that design rather than copying it exactly, a shirt once worn by the likes of Ricardo Arias, Fernando Giner and Voro.
Levante have turned to their roots with an edition inspired by Fútbol Club Cabanyal. The club frames it as more than aesthetics, and the first team will wear it on matchday 31, the weekend of 12 April, at the Ciutat de València against Getafe.
Villarreal will don a kit influenced by the looks of the 1990s and early 2000s. The Submarino Amarillo plan to use it at San Mamés against Athletic Club.
Elche revive a classic with dominant white and a horizontal green band across the chest, the crest sitting over the heart. They are scheduled to wear it in the regional derby with Valencia.
The black and white side have also presented their retro shirt under a motto that says 35 years of waiting have not made them weaker, but immortal.
