Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu will be in the starting eleven for Sunday evening’s Serie A derby match against AC Milan.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews.
Inter midfielder Calhanoglu has been on the sidelines for a few weeks now.
The 30-year-old picked up a thigh problem during the Supercoppa Italiana final against Milan earlier this month.
Then, Hakan Calhanoglu suffered a separate injury during his recovery process. That was a calf strain, which has kept him out since the Supercoppa.
Calhanoglu has missed four Serie A matches and two Champions League outings.
But Calhanoglu is back in full training now.
The Turkish international has recovered from his calf problem.

Therefore, the only question would be whether or not Calhanoglu would be match-fit for Sunday’s derby clash with his former team Milan.
According to Sky, the signs in training today were very positive. Hakan Calhanoglu looks to be ready.
Therefore, the broadcaster reports, Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi will give the Turk the nod over Kristjan Asllani in holding midfield.
Meanwhile, Sky reports, Francesco Acerbi will be in the squad. However, he’ll only be on the bench – Stefan de Vrij will start the derby.
