Former Inter Milan center-back Milan Skriniar concedes his life at PSG has become unbearable after tumbling down the pecking order.

During his recent interview with Sport Aktuality, as reported by FCInter1908, the Slovakia international opened up on his torrid time at the Parc des Princes.

Skriniar practically forced his Giuseppe Meazza exit last summer.

Inter manager Simone Inzaghi considered the 29-year-old a vital member of his Nerazzurri squad.

Therefore, Beppe Marotta and his associates went to great lengths to convince the former Sampdoria ace to pledge his loyalty to Inter.

Instead, he chose the exile.

Reluctant to extend his expiring deal and tormented by a long-term injury, Skriniar still made 21 Serie A starts in his last season at the club.

That’s more than he could say about his first year at PSG.

Indeed, he only amassed 17 Ligue 1 starts last term, while Luis Enrique only handed him one this season.

But a lack of interest forced the former Inter stalwart to stay put and fancy his chances in Paris.

However, he has already come to regret his decision to remain in the French capital.

“I’m fine,” Skriniar started. “It is what it is, and I’m definitely not happy about it.

“The only thing I can influence is continue to train well and work hard.

“Of course, I lack minutes, but I try to make up for them with training.”

Skriniar, made a late cameo appearance against Rennes in late September.

And he’s desperate for a more regular first-team action after being left on the bench against OGC Nice last Sunday.

“I’m ready to play if necessary, as I was after my last game, so it’s the only thing I can do.”
