Former Lazio and Juventus midfielder Hernanes insists Inter Milan are playing the most eye-pleasing football in Italy.

In a video released on Instagram via FCInter1908, Hernanes praised Inter’s playing style.

Despite undergoing a sudden managerial change in the summer, Inter remain among the hottest Scudetto candidates.

After losing twice in the opening three rounds, new boss Cristian Chivu has overseen back-to-back league wins.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri finished Match Day 5 only three points adrift of pacesetters AC Milan.

Furthermore, the 20-time Italian champions have netted multiple goals in four of their five league games this season.

Then, they’ve won both Champions League matches against Ajax and Slavia Prague via a combined score of 5-0.

Indeed, Chivu’s men are firing on all cylinders, with Lautaro Martinez netting three goals in his last two competitive appearances.

Moreover, Inter seem to have rediscovered their defensive solidity after conceding four times against Juventus.

They’ve since won four consecutive games, capitulating only once in that stretch.

“In my opinion, Inter play the best football in Italy,” Hernanes claimed. “If someone disagrees, it’s because they aren’t watching – they’re in denial.

“They build from the back like no one else, and on the third goal, Thuram makes a brilliant play.

“At the start of the move, look how deep Bastoni is. That’s why it’s so hard to mark Inter’s left side.

“The Slavia player looks three times and thinks Dimarco is there. But it’s not Dimarco arriving, it’s Bastoni like a train.

“They control the ball, the time, and the space. The combination between the players is perfect.”

Then, Hernanes hailed Inter’s attacking fluidity.

“They move the ball well across all areas of the pitch and in every phase of play,” the Brazilian continued.

“Some might say it was easy against Slavia Prague.

“However, Napoli struggled to score against Cagliari, whereas Inter scored twice and created many chances.

“They have experienced players, Lautaro making history, and also young talents.

“Of the five goals they conceded, two were from set pieces, two from outside the box where the goalkeeper wasn’t precise.
