Former Juventus directors Andrea Agnelli, Pavel Nedved and Fabio Paratici will have the first hearing in their civil trial on May 19 after an appeal was rejected.
While they all received bans in the sporting trial for artificially inflating profit margins on transfer fees, the wheels of the Italian justice system move considerably slower, and that trial is yet to even fully begin.
Calcio e Finanza confirm that Rome judge Anna Maria Gavoni rejected the request from lawyers representing Juve and former directors to annul the hearing over some technicalities.
Instead, the trial will go ahead and the first hearing is scheduled for May 19.

Among those involved are ex-Juve President Andrea Agnelli, vice-president Pavel Nedved, former CEO Maurizio Arrivabene and sporting director Paratici.
It is because of this looming trial and the possible consequences that Milan decided to withdraw their approach to hire Paratici as the new director of sport.
While his 30-month ban is due to expire in July, the civil trial could be a painful distraction, even without considering the potential added punishment.
