Exclusive: Canadian forward Jonathan David will not force Juventus exit | OneFootball

Whilst plenty of rumours are circulating regarding the future of Canadian forward Jonathan David in Turin following his abysmal debut season with the Bianconeri since arriving as a free agent from Lige 1 outfits Lille, GIFN can exclusively reveal that the Brampton-born forward will not force an exit from Juventus as he desires remain under coach Luciano Spalletti for an additional season. 

As it stands, the Turin giants are set to revamp the front-line, after having secured the return of Kolo Muani from PSG on a loan with an obligation yo buy worth over €45m, as well as keeping former Bologna star-forward Joshua Zirkzee within their radar after the Dutchman’s lack of playing time since joining Manchester United. 

Following Jonathan David’s dreadful first season with Juventus, in which the 26-year-old marksman only tallied 6 goals and 4 assists in 35 games-played within the Italian top-flight league, the Bianconeri would be prepared to offload the Canadian international after only one season.

As it stands, the Old Lady have not received any concrete offers for David from potential suitors despite a few inquiries. It is understood that David does not intend to force a Bianconeri exit as the former Lille talisman still feels he has much more to prove at Juventus, but would part ways with his current club if the Italian giants accept a bid from a club that suits all parties involved.
