The Rams goalkeeper is attracting interest from Premier League clubs
Derby County are mulling over a new contract for keeper Jacob Widell Zetterstrom, Football League World understands.
The Rams hierarchy is aware that there is substantial interest in the Swedish keeper from the Premier League.
Several top-flight scouts have been in attendance as John Eustace’s side have overcome their early-season hiccup to record five wins on the spin.
And word is out that the 27-year-old keeper is playing a key role in their revival.
Zetterstrom arrived in the Championship from Djurgarden in August last year and, after establishing himself as first-choice, has remained in the side ever since.
He stands an imposing six-feet six inches tall and Derby have become increasingly aware that his progress is being monitored.
The rangy keeper agreed a three-year deal when he moved from the Swedish top-flight.

That is due to run out at the end of next season and the Rams want to protect their investment.
It is likely that Zetterstrom will be asked to agree an extended deal that will give Eustace & Co. extra security should one of the big boys come calling.
Meanwhile, on the pitch, John Eustace's side are in a healthy run of form, winning their last five consecutive Championship matches.
