Contact is intensifying between Juventus and Jadon Sancho, who is eager to wait for the Bianconeri, but well aware they will not pay €25m to Manchester United with his contract situation.

Not only is it still wide open for the Turin giants, but the talks are getting stronger and stronger between the club and his entourage, including a conversation they had directly today.

Sancho is prepared to wait for Juventus and has given them his priority going forward, but the fact remains they need to reach an agreement with his club.

Manchester United have acknowledged that Juve will not pay the €25m asking price for a player who is down to the final year of his contract.

As things stand, nobody else is prepared to pay that sum either in these circumstances, so they have no choice but to negotiate a lower fee.

It remains open, and let’s be clear once again in the summer months, all that ultimately matters is to close the deal, because these stories can change every 10 minutes until that moment.
