Extreme Fields’ first stop took it to one of the world’s most beautifully scenic destinations: the Maldives. A combination of football, the sharing of Bianconero passion makes this an extreme adventure, and one that involves Juventus fans from all around the world, as well as some very special quests.

The Extreme Fields participants will meet on the island of Mahibadhoo, where the entire local community has warmly welcomed everybody with local traditions and unique experiences.

The passion for the Bianconeri was the recurring theme of all of the activities, and the fans had the chance to test themselves in a training session and seven-a-side tournament against locals at the Pele Stadium.

To make it all the more special, there were four very special guests: Juventus legend Edgar Davids, freestyler and creator Ben Black, content creator Rachele Santoro, and artist Greg Goya.

THE HEART OF THE PROJECT: THE EXTREME FIELDS MATCH

On 12 April the real beating heart of the project was held: the Extreme Fields Football Match, again in the incredible setting of the Pele Stadium, which was of course covered in black and white for the occasion.

All of the players, including the local players and the captain of the Maldives Men’s National Team, played a thrilling game with the population of Mahibadhoo watching on.

It was an emotion-packed occasion, and it came to an end with the exchange of gifts between Davids and the local authorities, as well as a photo and autograph session.

A UNIQUE PITCH

The most iconic moment was the pitch designed by artist Greg Goya, who created a real work of art in the heart of the ocean. All participants were afforded the chance to play on an exclusive two-a-side pitch on a sandbank, surrounded by crystal clear water - undoubtedly a unique experience for everybody, and perfectly aligned with the spirit of the project.

It was a truly extreme field for this Extreme Fields project.
