Eyüpspor climb from 17th to 16th after first half turnaround

Eyüpspor beat Fatih Karagümrük 2-1 at the Atatürk Olimpiyat Stadı to climb from 17th to 16th in the Süper Lig.
In the 16th minute, Sérgio António de Luiz Junior headed in Daniele Verde's cross from a corner to put Fatih Karagümrük ahead.
Baran Gezek struck the bar (38.). Moments later, Matías Kranevitter put through his own net (39.), before Mateusz Łęgowski drilled in from outside the box after Cengiz Umut Meras's pass (44.). Łęgowski's strike was his first for Eyüpspor since joining this season.
After the restart, Anil Yasar was sent off (78.) following a VAR review that upgraded his punishment, but Eyüpspor held firm.
Jankat Yilmaz preserved the advantage with a low save from Baris Kalaycı in the fifth minute of second half stoppage time.
Fatih Karagümrük had 61.7% possession and 12 attempts as they chased a leveller. Eyüpspor produced six attempts and made 48 clearances.
