Cheltenham v Leicester

12:15 kick-offLive on Discovery+ & TNT Sports Extra

We start this bumper preview at Whaddon Road where Leicester are 8/15 favourites against Cheltenham's fourth-worst defence in League Two (44 goals conceded). The Foxes have won their last four FA Cup third rounders against lower league opposition by a combined 13-2 and won both of their two  previous meetings with Cheltenham 4-0. Over 2.5 goals has landed in Leicester's last 12 games.

Everton v Sunderland

12:15 kick-offLive on Discovery+ & TNT Sports Extra

David Moyes has lost eight of 10 FA Cup ties against Premier League sides while Sunderland have lost seven straight against teams from the same division. Everton have won just one of five at home and the Black Cats are winless in six on the road - so it's hardly strength v strength here. In a league game I'd fancy the visitors at 9/4 but with team changes expected I'll take Toffees at 11/10 to win the first FA Cup at their new stadium.

Macclesfield v Crystal Palace

12:15 kick-offLive on BBCi, TNT Sports 1, BBC One & Discovery+

The BBC fancy an 11/1 FA Cup upset for National League North side Macclesfield, and Mose Rose will be a new experience for Oliver Glasner and his Palace squad, but they're the FA Cup holders and holders haven't lost to a non-league side since Wolves in 1908 - against Crystal Palace no less. The Eagles are 1/5 for a reason so expect a professional job from Glasner's men, who are a good price to keep a clean sheet.

Wolves v Shrewsbury

12:15 kick-offLive on TNT Sports Extra & Discovery+

Lowly Wolves could be FA Cup upset candidates on paper but they've played well the last few games and 12/1 Shrewsbury, with just one win away in League Two this season, aren't the side to upset anyone on the road this season. The Shrews are, though, experts at getting cards - the joint-most yellows in League Two no less and they've had four or more cards in four of their past eight away games.

Boreham Wood v Burton

15:00 kick-off

Onto the 3pm kick-offs where the upset alert claxon is going off for National League side Boreham Wood hosting League One outfit Burton - but the non leaguers are actually 11/10 match favourites! So not much of an upset then with Burton having survival on their minds after three straight defeats with no goals scored - but they'll surely get a goal here at least.

Burnley v Millwall

15:00 kick-off

Awful game to call this one with Burnley battling relegation and Millwall chasing promotion - who knows what line-ups we'll get at Turf Moor. The Lions have won just one of 14 FA Cup away ties at Premier League sides but if Alex Neil fancies it then they're not without a chance at 15/4. I like a nice, odd, little double here, involving a slow, scrappy start and two disjointed much-changed teams letting in a few goals at some stage.

Doncaster v Southampton

15:00 kick-off

Two sides in stinking form here both without a win in six. Southampton are 4/5 favourites but have lost four of their past five away games so who can you trust? The answer is neither of them so we'll back the draw and let them settle the argument in extra time, or even pens.

Fulham v Middlesbrough

15:00 kick-off

Boro are still second in the Championship but after a big recent wobble they're very much focusing on promotion, while Fulham are flying in the top flight. After losing to Palace in the quarter-finals last season Marco Silva knows his side can make a run at the FA Cup - this looks like a perfect storm scenario for the Cottagers.

Ipswich v Blackpool

15:00 kick-off

Clearly 1/4 Ipswich should win this. Would it be a surprise for a side chasing promotion to the Premier League to make changes, take their eye off the ball and lose to a League One outfit? Not really, but Kieran McKenna won't have any of that and his second-best defence in the Champoinship, even with changes, will be too strong.

Man City v Exeter

15:00 kick-off

Nothing much to see here, just how many Man City will win by and who will get the goals being the only questions to answer. Phil Foden is a proven flat track bully in cup competitions and Rayan Cherki will have far too much cocky swagger for the Grecians to deal with.

Newcastle v Bournemouth

15:00 kick-off

Bournemouth have had some wild games recently, with 19 goals in the last four, while Newcastle have scored nine in their last three wins including that stunning 4-3 over Leeds and Eddie Howe's men are the better cup team of the two. Let's go for another eventful win for the Toon.

Salford v Swindon

15:00 kick-off

A top-of-the-table League Two clash here where teamsheets will be important. Going on recent meetings though there's usually goals - both teams have scored and there's been 21 goals in the last six fixtures. Three of those have been score draws and that's the bet again.

Sheffield Wednesday v Brentford

15:00 kick-off

Brentford have a poor recent FA Cup record, but Sheffield Wednesday have won just one league game this season so it's a monumental ask against an in-form Premier League side. And talking of form Igor Thiago has five goals in two games and as long as he gets on the pitch here he'll score.

Stoke v Coventry

15:00 kick-off

Championship leaders Coventry are having a sticky spell with two wins in eight but Stoke have won just once in four at home so although the draw looms large here the extra scoring power can pull Frank Lampard's Sky Blues through.

Bristol City v Watford

17:45 kick-offLive on Discovery+ & TNT Sports Extra

There's hardly anything between these two promotion chasers in the Championship but Watford have just hit a nice hot streak with four wins on the spin, including two on the road, and they've also won all three previous FA Cup meetings.

Cambridge v Birmingham

17:45 kick-offLive on TNT Sports Extra & Discovery+

Blues finally ended a long winless streak with victory over leaders Coventry, but whether that's enough to help them win this tricky trip to League Two challengers Cambridge is another matter. I think they'll have to work overtime to get the job done.

Grimsby v Western-super-Mare

17:45 kick-offLive on TNT Sports Extra & Discovery+

Western-super-Mare's first FA Cup third round appearance isn't perhaps the glamour tie they'd hoped for and they'll be hard pushed to get any joy from their trip to Grimsby. The hosts have only scored three goals in the last six games though so it may not be a total walkover.

Tottenham v Aston Villa

The big all Premier League tie at Tottenham could be a really good one but you've got to fancy Villa who, apart from that defeat at Arsenal, have been in stunning form with 12 wins in the past 14 - nine of those coming with both teams scoring.

Charlton v Chelsea

20:00 kick-offLive on Discovery+ & TNT Sports 1

Chelsea haven't won in five but Charlton have just one win in 11 so aren't the team to take advantage - they have been decent scorers though and Chelsea have failed to keep a clean sheet in the last six.
