The draw for the FA Cup third round has been made and there are some hugely exciting ties on offer.
Arsenal face Manchester United with the most successful side’s in the competition’s history drawn together in the third round, while Tottenham travel to non-league Tamworth in a potential giant-killing fixture. Dagenham & Redbridge, the only other non-league side remaining, visit Millwall.
There’s fascinating North-West encounter as Salford City – part-owned by Manchester United legends including Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs, David Beckham and others – travel to face Manchester City at the Etihad.
Bromley, who have reached the FA Cup’s third round for the first time in their history, have been handed a glamour tie at Newcastle.
Liverpool will host Accrington Stanley, Chelsea host Morecambe, and League One high-flyers Stockport County make the trip to top-tier Crystal Palace. Aston Villa will host West Ham in another all-Premier League tie.
Premier League and Championship clubs enter the competition in round three, with the ties set to take place over the weekend of January 11.
