The FA Cup third-round draw was conducted on Monday evening, ahead of the second round tie involving Brackley Town and Burton Albion.
The third round is always a highlight of the FA Cup, marking the entry of Premier League and Championship clubs, and allowing lower-league sides to pull off upsets.
There are four all-Premier League matches to look out for.
Tottenham Hotspur take on Aston Villa at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Spurs have faced Villa 12 times in the FA Cup, winning seven, losing four and drawing one.
Manchester United face Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford. The Red Devils have five wins and two draws against the Seagulls in the competition.
At St. James’ Park, Newcastle United are up against AFC Bournemouth. They have met three times, with each side winning once, while the other encounter ended in a draw.
The fourth all-Premier League tie will see Everton host Sunderland at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. The Toffees have six wins, three draws and three losses against the Black Cats in the competition.
Meanwhile, defending champions Crystal Palace will begin their defence with a trip to non-League club Macclesfield FC.
The third-round fixtures will take place between Saturday, 10 January, and Sunday, 11 January 2026.
