FA WNL Cup Opponents Announced

Leeds United Women will travel to Hull City in the FA Women’s National League Cup First Round, after the tie was drawn earlier this evening.

The Whites have enjoyed success in the Plate division of the competition as they were crowned winners in the 2022/23 season after beating Stourbridge 3-1 in Solihull.

Leeds entered the draw after topping Group U on seven points, with a victory at home to Halifax in the opening clash, drawing 2-2 away at Norton, and comfortably defeating York 5-2 away from home yesterday afternoon.

Our opponents topped Group S on seven points as well, beating Doncaster Rovers 5-1 and Sheffield United Academy 6-1, before a draw in the final fixture at Barnsley.

The fixture will take place on Sunday the 19th of October, with further details to be announced in due course.
