Corinthians supporters have criticised water provision at Neo Química Arena after sweltering conditions on Sunday. The Arquibancada 85 group highlighted a lack of drinking fountains and the sale of 200 ml cups at R$ 8, with temperatures above 30C and 33C at kick-off.
The club said it is aware of the complaints from the last match and is studying possible solutions for mineral and potable water distribution at the stadium.
Arquibancada 85 has pressed in meetings for fountains in all sectors, arguing families face high costs. Fans backed the call on social media, some saying sales failed to meet demand in the heat.
The stadium bars entry with bottles and cups, except plastic, citing safety guidelines based on the São Paulo Military Police list. Consumer law forbids tying the purchase of products, and complaints can be lodged with Procon or the federal platform.
A federal bill, PL 5569/2023, would guarantee access to drinking water at commercial venues and large events and awaits dispatch from Chamber president Hugo Motta. In São Paulo, PL Ana Benevides 1594/2023 is under analysis by deputies Luiz Claudio Marcolino and Oseias de Madureira since November 2025.
At the Copa do Brasil title party, several supporters felt unwell near the West car park around 11am. The fire brigade assisted, some in wheelchairs, and the club handed out water in plastic bags.
