Fans rate PSG above Real’s Galácticos but below Guardiola’s Barça | OneFootball

A readers’ consultation, launched the day after PSG completed a Champions League double, measured the 2024-2026 side against Europe’s great teams of the 21st century.

After beating Arsenal 1-1 after extra time, 4-3 on penalties, in Budapest on 30 May, L’Équipe put the club’s standing to a vote.

Luis Enrique’s PSG were compared with Manchester City 2018-2024, Real Madrid 2016-2018, Bayern Munich 2011-2013, Guardiola’s Barça 2008-2012, Manchester United 2007-2009 and Vicente del Bosque’s Real Madrid 1999-2003.

Among nearly 12,000 votes, only two teams were judged superior to this PSG 2024-2026 side, Zidane’s Real Madrid on 56% and Guardiola’s Barça on 69%.

The others trailed well behind, including Real’s Galácticos despite two European crowns in 2000 and 2002. Yes shares were Manchester City 2018-2024 20.5%, Bayern Munich 2011-2013 23%, Manchester United 2007-2009 21% and Real Madrid 1999-2003 31%.
