Lamine Yamal
As he turns 18 this Sunday, Lamine Yamal has delivered a clear message to the football world. His sights are set on the Champions League and the World Cup next season.
Lamine Yamal is officially an adult as of a few hours ago. The Spanish prodigy celebrates his 18th birthday this Sunday, coinciding with the return to training at FC Barcelona's facilities. For his birthday, the Barcelona sensation was asked by his club about his wish list. Unsurprisingly, the Champions League and the World Cup top his ambitions.
On FC Barcelona's social media, the young star did not hesitate to show his trademark confidence.
"At 18, I want everything I had at 16 and 17, plus the trophies that are still missing. Of course, the World Cup and the Champions League. That's what I'm missing. My mindset is to go for it and win. I don't think about the fact that I still have many years ahead of me. I want to win now, and I'll give everything to make it happen. To all the Culers, we'll be there, we're going to fight. We will, without a doubt, bring the Champions League home, and then I'm coming for the World Cup," he declared in his message.
