Personnel planning at FC Bayern is currently in full swing – not just in the first team, but throughout the club. The record champions have now announced numerous contract extensions
While a number of first-team players are set to extend their contracts, including Michael Olise, Harry Kane and Konrad Laimer, the record champions have now made a number of moves in the youth ranks
It was officially confirmed this Thursday that eight contracts have been extended, which is certainly a coup for FCB
Goalkeeper Luis Nadler, defenders Afrim Gashi and Jakob Horvath, midfielder Simon Schaff and the two attackers Kuba Horoszczak and Philipp von Taube from the U17 squad extended their contracts. The latter even started in the regional league home game against Eichstätt
Oluwaseyi Wilson and Leopold Schmid from the U19s will also remain at FC Bayern Campus and try to take the next steps. Schmid, who has been training at the Campus since 2017, got his first taste of regional league football in mid-April in an away game at champions 1. FC Nürnberg II

„When we bring talented youngsters to the Campus, it is always our aim to support them in their development for as long as possible. Almost all of these boys have been with us for many years in our youth academy, so it is all the more pleasing that they will continue to play in the Bayern jersey and that we are working with them through the all-important transition period,“ said Jochen Sauer, Director of Youth Development at FC Bayern
The large number of extensions now ensures that FC Bayern’s planning security in the youth sector has definitely improved. One or two of the youngsters could even make the leap to the pros in the coming years if everything falls into place.
