FC Porto beat Reus 2-0, go clear in Group A, Di Benedetto and Nunes star

FC Porto beat Reus Deportiu 0-2 this Thursday in a WSE Champions League match. With this win, and FC Barcelona’s draw away to Trissino in Italy, the Dragons secured first place with one round still to go in the group stage.

The goals only came in the second half. Carlo Di Benedetto opened the scoring in the 35th minute, putting the Dragons ahead at the Palau d’Esports del Reus Deportiu. The match was played at a low tempo, and Hélder Nunes sealed the result in the 40th minute. In the next round, FC Porto host Igualada HC, while Reus Deportiu travel to face Barcelona in the final round of the WSE Champions League group stage.
