Trabzonspor beat Eyüpspor 1-0 in Istanbul, with Felipe Augusto deciding it after the break to extend a five-match Süper Lig winning run and keep the visitors third.
The breakthrough came in the 66th minute, when Felipe Augusto turned in Oleksandr Zubkov's cross from a corner.
André Onana saved Anil Yasar's header before the interval. After the restart, Marcos Felipe denied Ozan Tufan as Trabzonspor pushed for the opener.
Half-time changes mattered. Augusto replaced Mehmet Umut Nayir and immediately stretched Eyüpspor, twice threatening before finding the bottom right corner.
Four minutes of second half stoppage time were indicated, but Eyüpspor could not force an equaliser. There was a brief injury stoppage for Denis Radu early in the half.
Eyüpspor mustered seven attempts, with one on target. Trabzonspor registered 10 attempts, three on target, and earned five corners.
Eyüpspor stay 16th in the relegation places. Next they visit Antalyaspor. Trabzonspor host Galatasaray next.
