Roma are in a major attacking crisis for tomorrow night’s match in Athens against Benitez’s Panathinaikos.
The Giallorossi, who will still be without Malen and Robinio Vaz in European action, are also without Ferguson, as well as the already injured Dovbyk.
The Irish striker was left out of tomorrow’s match due to a recurrence of pain in his left ankle, which had already sidelined him for several weeks.
Given the former Brighton player’s absence, Gasperini will once again be forced to play as a false nine, with Dybala likely to be deployed in that position.
The only attacking players called up are Pellegrini, Soulé, Dybala, and the Primavera youth player Della Rocca. Cristante could also be moved up to the attacking midfield.
