Dutch giants Feyenoord have received a timely boost as their skipper Quinten Timber has a good chance of playing against Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Feyenoord are in the bottom half of the Champions League league phase table and have won two of their four games, losing the other two.
They may fancy their chances against a Manchester City side who have lost their last five games on the bounce and they have now had an injury boost.
There is a good chance for their skipper Timber to play in the match as he has travelled to England, according to Dutch daily the Algemeen Dagblad.
Timber missed his side’s last domestic win against Heerenveen at the weekend after picking up an injury during his outings with the Dutch national team.
The 23-year-old’s is not expected to be the only returnee though, with yet another injured player Jordan Lotomba also likely to be available.
A few other players such as Calvin Stengs, Antoni Milambo and Julián Carranza have already made their comebacks and will further strengthen Brian Priske’s team for the big match.
Santiago Gimenez is also in the squad.
Manchester City have been going through a poor run of form and will be desperate for a morale-boosting win over Feyenoord.
