Fifa announces record purse for Copa dos Campeões Feminina with Corinthians involved | OneFootball

Fifa announced on Friday that the inaugural Copa dos Campeões Feminina will carry record prize money for women’s club football. With Corinthians involved, the semi-finals are in London on Wednesday 28 January, the final on Sunday one February.

The champions will receive 2.3 million dollars, the runners-up 1 million dollars. Losing semi-finalists get 200,000 dollars each, with teams knocked out earlier earning 100,000 dollars. In total, nearly 4 million dollars will be distributed across the six participants based on performance.

On Wednesday 28 January at Brentford Stadium, Gotham FC of the United States face Corinthians at 9:30 Brasília time. Later, Arsenal meet ASFAR of Morocco at 15:00.

On Sunday one February at Arsenal Stadium, the third-place match is at 11:45 Brasília time, followed by the final at 15:00.

Auckland United of New Zealand and Wuhan Chegu Jiangda of China were eliminated in the opening phases.
