According to the BBC, Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen is in talks with Strasbourg over a move, and a favourable outcome is hoped. He has left the club’s pre-season tour in Australia to return to Europe, and both a loan and a permanent deal are being discussed.
Strasbourg are seeking a first-choice keeper, and the 24-year-old could be their number one.
Jorgensen joined Chelsea for around €25m two years ago but has not established himself, making only 12 starts last season in all competitions.
He faces competition for 2026-2027 from Robert Sanchez and Mike Penders, and wants to relaunch his career by starting regularly.
In Alsace, he would be backed up by young Pole Milosz Piekutowski. United States international Gabriel Slonina, also owned by Chelsea, is currently on trial with Racing.
