Fiorentina are reportedly in talks with Wolves over left-back Hugo Bueno, while Aston Villa weigh up attacking options. According to The72, Wolves and Birmingham City are also tracking Real Salt Lake striker Sergi Solans.

Bueno, 23, has been with Wolves since 2019, made his Premier League debut in 2022 and played 35 league games last season. He also spent 2024/25 on loan at Feyenoord, making 20 Eredivisie appearances.

Fiorentina are seeking cover at left-back with Fabiano Parisi set for several months out after an ACL injury.

Solans has 6 goals and 4 assists in 14 MLS games in a breakthrough season, and is thought to be available for about £4m.

Arsenal are said to have made Morgan Rogers their main summer target. He was named Europa League Player of the Season after helping Villa beat Freiburg in last month’s final in Istanbul.

Villa, Everton, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest and Sunderland are among the clubs linked with USA striker Folarin Balogun, who is currently at the World Cup. He scored 19 for Monaco last season and is believed to be valued at around £43m, while his double against Paraguay in the USA’s opener made him the first American to score twice in a World Cup match since 1930.

Villa are also reportedly monitoring Germany forward Nick Woltemade, with Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid among his admirers and a fee of around £56m quoted.
