According to Sky Sport Italia, Fiorentina have reached a verbal agreement with Real Madrid to sign 19-year-old defender Víctor Valdepeñas.
The deal is said to be a permanent transfer, with Madrid retaining a 50% sell-on clause.

Valdepeñas is considered a versatile option, able to operate at centre-back or left-back.
The clubs are working through final details, including when the move will take place. Madrid are weighing an immediate switch against waiting a few weeks so new coach José Mourinho can assess him in pre-season.
Fiorentina have been busy this summer, already adding defenders Viery, Radu Dragusin and Alex Jimenez, plus midfielder Arthur Atta. Valdepeñas would be their fifth signing if completed.
