Fiorentina have joined the chase for Sevilla’s emerging left-back Oso after his first-team breakthrough.
Matteo Moretto reports that the Serie A club have placed the academy graduate among their priorities for next season, with only initial soundings so far and no formal proposal submitted.
Serie A sides continue to eye Sevilla’s squad. Venezia have shown interest in Akor Adams and Andrés Castrín, while Lazio have done likewise with Kike Salas, and Fiorentina are the latest to position themselves.
Fiorentina need a swift rebuild after a difficult domestic campaign. They spent long spells near the drop before a late upturn, a struggle that has pushed them to seek more energy and defensive security down the left.
Oso is under contract until June 2027 after an extension signed in early 2024, when he was still with Sevilla Atlético. ESTADIO Deportivo says his release clause is around 20 million euros, a figure Sevilla want to raise with a renewal to 2030, though talks are currently stuck. Financial pressures mean the club will listen to offers for any player this summer, Oso included.
Interest is growing elsewhere. Weeks ago, Diario AS revealed Real Sociedad have him on their agenda and could offer six million euros plus Javi López. RC Strasbourg are also tracking the defender, so his name is likely to remain one to watch this summer.
